LIST OF TOOLS THAT YOU MAY WANT IN A DBA TOOLKIT PART 2

Last week, I have listed few tools that I have in my DBA Toolkit that I use the most. Those are the tools I would install first when I configure a new system for me. This week, in this post I will mention a couple of more tools along with the test lab I have configured at my home where I do POC. Without wasting much time let me list other items in my DBA Toolkit.

Operating System: Windows Server 2016 Standard Edition with Hyper-V

Running multiple VMs

Intel 87MC Motherboard

Intel Core i7 4th Generation CPU, 8 Cores

16 Gigabytes of RAM

128 Gigabytes SSD + 500 + 1024 Gigabytes of SATA

Intel Gigabyte Ethernet X 2

WD 2TB USB 3.0 HDD

Cooler Master ATX CAbinet with 2 FAN

Laptop 1:

Surface Pro 4 + Signature Type Cover (Intel Core i7, 16 Gigabytes of RAM, 256 Gigabyte SSD + 200 Gigabyte Micro SD Card)

Laptop 2: 

Dell 7348 2-in-1 (Intel Core i5, 8 Gigabyte of RAM, 500 Gigabytes of SATA)

External Monitors: Total 3 external monitors of 21 inch each of BenQ

Dell D3100 docking station for all additional attachments
